You do not get what is promissed. No balcony, just small room instead of two rooms and 45 square meter, old building, smoke in room was awfull. The staff did npt help good with the complains unfortunate. There is no reason to pay 106 euro for this old small bad room

Down at heel, intimidating entrance. no entry instructions, unpleasant smell, prison staircase Stark room, a fridge but no kettle, no glasses, no cups no anything!. Ripped curtains, Cracked sink, unhygienic shower. Booked 4 nights- via Booking.com- mistake- could not stay there Owners not sympathetic- website pictures misleading.

It’s just a walking distance to bus station, and closed to Kurfürstendamm is Berlin's most famous and popular shopping boulevard and is the heart of the western city centre. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights in November, booking through Booking.com. Although there was a slight issue on check in, it was dealt with very efficiently and effectively. We were given what I would describe as a 2 bed apartment, even though we had booked a double bedroom with a fridge. It was really warm and cozy with a great little kitchen, big fridge, lovely eating area, very good shower, excellent WiFi and oodles of space. All of this at a great price! The area was very safe and central, with Kurfürstendamm just around the corner. There are both u bahn and s bahn stations within easy walking distance, making it very easy to get from the airport. Also there were numerous cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and a Lidl withing a 5 minute walk. Maybe the decor is a little tired, but the place is sparkling clean, which I think counts much more. Yes, you can hear the trains go by, but with the windows closed in November it really wasn't a problem. In fact I found it quite comforting. It's nice to lie in bed on holidays, thinking how lucky you are not to be going to work on one of those trains. We loved it!

We stayed at the Aparthotel Vega for eight nights in October 2019. There were four adults and a nine-year-old child. We stayed in a so called two-bedroom apartment. I say so called because there was one bedroom with three beds and another two beds behind the couch in the living room. Pros: • The apartment was clean. • Had all the necessary equipment for self-catering. • It was a few blocks from several U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations; all within a 10 to 15-minute walk. • Several shops and restaurants were in the vicinity. • Seemed to be a safe neighborhood. We walked around at night with no problems. • The man at the front desk was helpful. • There was free Wi-Fi that worked well. Cons: • The water in the shower would turn scalding if someone flushed the toilet or turned on the faucet in the bathroom or kitchen. Even when we did not turn on the water, the shower would turn scalding every now and again. • The shower was very slippery. We bought a shower mat for safety. • The couch was very old and worn. The fabric was torn in some places and the padding was flat. We would stay there again. Just be very careful to keep the nozzle in the shower pointed away from you.
